Floors we’ve actually installed

Real jobs, photographed on site — not stock images. Six installations across Vancouver and Burnaby, including the subfloor prep that most galleries leave out.

Six jobs, start to finish

Every photo below is from a Craftbuild installation. Where we have them, the before shots are included — the subfloor is where a flooring job is won or lost, and it is the part you never see once the planks are down. Client names and addresses are withheld.

Character home, Vancouver

VancouverGlue-down hardwood

Wide-plank white oak installed with the glue-down method across the main living areas, hallways, kitchen and dining room. Glue-down gives a solid underfoot feel with no hollow sound — the right call in a character home where the subfloor and room shapes are anything but square.

Downtown Vancouver condo

VancouverSPC waterproof plankBefore & after

A high-rise unit taken from bare concrete to finished floor. The slab was levelled first, then waterproof SPC plank was laid throughout. Concrete in towers is rarely flat enough to install over directly — the prep is what stops the clicking and gapping later.

Family home, North Burnaby

BurnabyVinyl plank

Vinyl plank through the living room, kitchen, dining area and hallway, with the staircase wrapped to match. Stairs are the part most installers quote around; matching them to the floor is what makes the job read as one piece instead of two.
